A great event feels effortless — and that ease depends on security that guests barely notice until they need it. Our Event Officers manage access, monitor crowds, and handle the unexpected with discretion, so hosts can focus on their guests instead of the door.
Coverage scaled to your event
Whether you're hosting a corporate conference, a private celebration, a grand opening, or a community gathering, we scale staffing to your headcount, venue layout, and risk profile. Officers handle guest list and credential checks, direct foot traffic, watch for intoxicated or disruptive behavior, and protect VIPs and the people in the room.
- Entry management, ticketing support, and credential verification
- Crowd flow and capacity monitoring
- Discreet VIP and executive protection
- Parking and perimeter coverage
- Rapid, de-escalation-first response to disturbances
How many Event Officers do you need?
A useful planning baseline is one Officer per 75 to 100 guests, adjusted upward when alcohol is served, when there are multiple entrances, when admission is ticketed, when VIPs or executives attend, or when the event runs late. Cost is quoted hourly per Officer with a typical four-hour minimum, so the number of posts — not a package price — drives your total. We will tell you when you are over-staffed.
Planning is the product
We walk your venue in advance, map entrances and choke points, and build a staffing and communication plan before the first guest arrives. Every Officer works from a written post order for your event, and you receive written incident documentation afterward. For venues and businesses that host regularly, event coverage pairs naturally with ongoing On-site Security and Mobile Patrols for overnight equipment protection during multi-day setups.
Event Security by City
We staff events across the greater Puget Sound region. Start with the page for your city:
We also staff events in Everett, Kent, Renton, Federal Way, Auburn, Lakewood, Olympia, Bremerton, and every other city in our five-county Puget Sound service area — including King, Pierce, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Thurston Counties. See the Industries We Serve for venue-specific programs.
Adaptability is a core value at Diligence Security, and events test it more than any other assignment. Guest counts change, schedules slip, and one difficult guest can define the evening. Our Officers are trained to absorb that without escalating it.
